Here is my newest tut!
turn this

into this

1. Ok, open a new 100 x 100 image
2. Open this texture (i don't know who originally made the base of this, but I tweaked it a little to fit this icon)

3. Place it on your 100 x 100 image.
4. Open a pic, resize it and place it on the top layer of your image.
It looks like this:

5. Duplicate the pic and set to soft light. Duplicate it again, underneath the soft light layer and set to screen. Duplicate the screen layer as many times as you want (until the pic looks right to you.
I got:

6. Now cut out bits of your pic using the select too (select the bit you dont want and press delete)
I got:

7. Copy the texture layer and paste it above everything. Set to Hard Light at 60% Opacity.
I got:

8. Open this texture and set to screen.

9. Copy and past different bits of the above texture and place it around the pic.
Like this:

10. Make a new layer and fill with #060933. Set to exclusion.
I got:

11. Now you can add some text if you like. I used Colour: #F0A1A1. Font: dear Joe four. Size: 10
