Make this High School Musical Icon! Turn:

TO



1. Open a new 100 x 100 image

2. Open your image and resize it. Drag it into your 100 x 100 image.
I got:


3. Sharpen the image (Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen)

4. Duplicate the image (Ctrl + J). Set this layer to screen.
I got:


5. Duplicate the screen layer twice. (or as many times as you want- make sure it looks TOO BRIGHT)


6. Make a new layer and fill with #021337. Set to exclusion. Duplicate the layer (Ctrl + J)

7. Duplicate one of the screen layers and drag to the top. Set to soft light.
I got:


8. Make a new layer and fill with #9BD9F3. Set to colour burn.
I got:


9. Open this texture (i am so sorry i have no idea who made it!)


10. Drag it onto your image. Set to screen.
I got:

12. Make a new layer and fill with #F7E1C9. Set to Colour Burn.

And you are done!

Add some text if you like. I didn't think you needed any on this particular icon. But- please feel free to experiment!
